How often have you wished you had sharper knives in the kitchen? Are you still getting a clean cut with you fabric shears? Are your utility scissors in need of a sharper blade? How about that paring knife, whittling or skinning knife? Cuticle scissors, scissors, tweezers, etc. all. Here’s a deal for you!
On Wednesday, June 10, 2009, Mr. Ervin Hubble, a factory trained & Certified Master Sharpener with 42 years of experience, will sharpen most anything you’ve got, starting at 11:15 a.m. at the clubhouse. His costs range from $2 for sharpening and small repairs (chips/nicks) to plastic-handle knives (steak knife, paring knife) to $10 for fabric shears. Sharpening service for blades and scissors is $.70 per inch (example: 6 inch blade = $4.20).
Your kitchen’s best friend is a sharp knife. Ervin will put a Five Star Edgelike no other on your items. He might even be able to sharpen your wit! After sharpening, you will have the option of purchasing a Reusable Safety Box ($3) to carry your razor sharpened instruments home. Call the clubhouse to make a reservation with Ervin. And wrap up those blades good before you come!
